The 90 Day Plan
Posted on January 29, 2010 by Torrey
To begin with I need to be kicked for not writing in my blog for months. To tell you the truth, I’ve been doing some spiritual and soul searching while also trying to devise a plan that will allow me to accomplish my goals at a faster rate.
I love real estate and really can’t see myself doing anything else for the rest of my life. 2009 was my most profitable year thus far. I’m so excited about 2010 because I know the opportunities this year will be just as profitable then last.
What struck me the most from 2009 was the fact that I was able to make $10K in two weeks in the extreme real estate challenge with Jason Rodriguez. I thought about what we did and how we did it. Jason came to my house and immediately formed a plan, a pathway to achieve the goal. So I’ve taken that same concept and formed a 90 day plan. I use to make 12 month plans but because the stretch was so long, I would never actually stick with it. So now I’ve developed the 90 day plan which includes all the marketing I am going to do as well as my target areas, acquisition strategy, exit strategy, and budget.
The 90 Day Plan consist of turning $2,000 into $75,000 in 90 days. This is net after I pay for my marketing and pay myself. You HAVE to pay yourself first!! But you can’t pay yourself more then what you need but enough to handle all of your personal bills.
The kickoff day for the 90 Day Plan is February 12, 2010. The $2,000 will be used to purchase marketing materials for the first 30 days and allow for a deal or two to close and get more working capital. Weekly goals and 30 day goals will allow me to stay focused throughout the 90 days.
The goal of the 90 Day Plan is to use $2,000 for marketing and other expenses to buy and sell 10 or more properties in 90 days to make $75,000, which for me will be May 13, 2010.
The 90 Day Plan will allow me to establish a solid foundation for my business. What I learned from the extreme real estate challenge is that if you map out a clear and precise plan to your goals, you can obtain them. This is where a number of investors, such as myself, get caught up at. They don’t have a clear plan. Even a lengthy business plan can be a bit overwhelming for newbie investors. I intend to share my results with my readers so that they can learn from my mistakes and successes. And once this 90 Day Plan is executed successfully, I will write an ebook for other real estate investors to follow.
I can’t wait to get started!!!!
