Hi, my name is Torrey Brothers.
I live in Greensboro, NC with my lovely wife and three kids.
Before I became a real estate junkie, I worked at UPS. I began working there in 1994, while attending North Carolina A&T State University, AGGIE PRIDE!! I worked there for nearly 10 years. From there I began to work with my uncle for a few years in the pest control business.
In 2005 my mother gave me the Calton Sheets course and I began to study real estate. I attended Guilford Technical Community College and studied real estate for brokers and agents. I knew I wasn’t interested in becoming an agent but just learning the business.
In 2006 I began marketing for short sale properties and closed on my first deal. My first check was for $5,500 and at that point I knew I could make this business work.
Fast forward to 2009, I really began to close on deals and was investing full time. I also had the pleasure to work with one of the greatest mentors in the business and a highly successful investor, Mr. Jason Rodriguez. I was the winner of the “Extreme Real Estate Challenge” and Jason came to my town with me for two weeks. Be sure to read all about it. 2009 was my best year and I look forward to passing my 2009 accomplishments with greater accomplishments this year, 2010.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids! I am also a semi professional billiards player, blogger, businessman, twitter junkie, and blackberry junkie.
