Here is a recent news post from November 2010.  Stores are already in the process of accepting silver bullion as a form of payment for products.  In the video, the merchandiser accepts privately minted gold and silver bullion as payment.  Notice I said privately minted and not government minted gold and silver.   This means the seller doesn’t take silver eagles or silver dollar pieces.  This is a very smart and creative way to boost sales, and transform the merchants…
