Smiling and Dialing

There is a saying that goes, “the expression one wears on one’s face is far more important then the clothes one wears on one’s back.”

A smile can be worth a million dollars in the network marketing industry!

Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says, “I like you.  You make me happy.  I am glad to see you.”

As a professional network marketer, phone calls are our lifeline.  We are on the phone at least 90% of the time calling prospects, following up with leads, etc.  The effect of a smile is powerful, even if it is unseen.  When talking on the phone, you should smile  because your “smile” comes through in your voice.  You begin to speak in tones that bespeak how pleased you are to have that person on the phone. A smile plays a huge part in your customer service skills and your success in this industry.

An old Chinese proverb states, “A man without a smiling face must not open a shop.”
